Jonathan and Janna Bastian are Pennsylvania natives who have built their lives around family, faith, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Together with their two children, they cherish every opportunity to unplug from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with nature and one another.
Whether they are gathering fresh flowers from their cutting gardens, exploring a new state park, biking scenic trails, hiking through a national park, or sharing stories around a campfire with s’mores in hand, they believe the most meaningful moments are often the simplest ones; the moments where time seems to slow down and lasting memories are made.
After spending more than a decade working in healthcare, Jonathan and Janna began envisioning a new chapter for their family; one centered around creating experiences that encourage others to step away from the stress of daily life and rediscover the beauty of the outdoors.
As they explored opportunities within the camping and hospitality industry, they quickly realized that Timberline Glamping perfectly aligned with both their values and their vision.
Their passion for family connection, hospitality, and outdoor adventure made Timberline Glamping a natural fit. They believe glamping offers a unique opportunity for individuals, couples, and families to experience the peace and wonder of nature without sacrificing comfort. It creates space to slow down, breathe deeply, reconnect with loved ones, and enjoy the outdoors in a meaningful and accessible way.
Today, Jonathan and Janna’s two franchise locations, Timberline Glamping Hickory Run and Timberline Glamping Promised Land, proudly bring elevated outdoor experiences to some of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful state parks.
